JDR is the artist. IAmJDR is his official website and brand identity.

Born in Chicago's south suburbs into a musical family, Jamiah was behind the drums at three and learning guitar by seven. What began in church, school, and his father's band grew into a commanding sound shaped by blues, funk, rock, reggae, soul, and R&B.

Today he moves between guitar, drums, bass, keys, and vocals with one purpose: carry the spirit of the blues forward without putting limits on where it can go.
